Kayla Ember is a 23 year old singer/songwriter/recording artist: Born in New York she now resides in the Tampa Bay Florida area .Her love for R&B, jazz and Pop music gives her a unique sound. She released her first single in 2017 “Talking To The Stars” on all platforms. 

Kayla was featured on national tv performing in front of judges Megan Trainer,

P Diddy, Dj Khalid & Charlie Walk as a contestant on The Four on Fox, season 1. She also was a contestant on American Idol. 

At the age of 14 Kayla was one of 11 Tampa Bay's young talents selected to participate in Soulsville USA In Performance at the White House song writing session, presented by the LA Grammy Museum and hosted by Michelle Obama. This was were she met and was mentored by some well known artists in the music industry like Justin Timberlake & Mavis Staples. This is also were she met Bob Santelli , executive director of the LA Grammy Museum who later selected her to participate in the 2013. L.A Grammy Museum Music Revolution Project. Since then as a Grammy Alumni she has consistently participated in Tampa Bays GMMRP as a mentor for new selected Talents and also showcased as a successful GMMRP Alumni performing before the GMMRP concerts at the Capitol Theater and Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater FL. Also premier performances for The Ruth Eckerd Hall Annual Gala In 2015, 2016 & 2017. 

Kayla is Performing on a regular basis in local venues like The Hard Rock in Tampa, weekly at the Don CeSar in St Pete plus many other live music venues across the Tampa Bay and St Pete area. She has had the honor of performing before the legendary Diana Ross concert & Post Modern Jukebox concert. She has also performed a few of her own shows in New York City at the famous Bitter End. She has been showcased for the Clearwater Jazz Education Outreach on the Starlight Yacht and invited to perform for other events with Clearwater Jazz Holiday. 

Kayla has also been featured and performed on Tampa bay Fox News , channel 8 NBC News , on local FM radio stations and for many events for The Childrens Dream Fund.

Kayla is consistently working very hard on writing and perfecting her musical talents. Currently Writing, recording & collaborating with other artist with some new projects in the works.
